So, I'm looking to see if there's any dyscalculia groups on Facebook, and I come across the one for the dyscalculia forum, and they have this doosey on the description:

"Dyscalculics count too."

... Well, NO. We do, but very *badly*. So the double meaning is completely effed up. Cause my OCD mind is going, "But - I can't count big numbers! That's why I'm dyscalculic!!" I slightly prefer this one:

"Dyscalculia - when things just won't add up."

But I'm not a fan of laboured puns at the best of times.

Does this mean that dyscalculia causes fractions? *runs*

Dyscalcila is one of the disablities I just can't imagine living with, it's just so foreign to me. But I hope it's an okay group even if their slogans need work.

Let me sum up.

So you're saying there are numerous dyscalculia puns? That dyscalculia has its pluses and minuses? That dyscalculia is a total problem?

I'm sorry. I'm not normally so calculating.

You have to stop this. You're making me irrational.

All right. How about we relax with some pi? It looks like I've got...oh, call it three slices and a bit.

Negative. Cos I'm gluten intolerant.

Just as well. I'm stuck trying to figure out how to measure it around the edge.

I think it's a sine for me to go to bed.

I'm torn between being amused and horrified. *shakes head*

And yes, you need to go to bed. *pokes*
