Awareness puns hurt everybody.
Mar. 19th, 2010 11:36 amSo, I'm looking to see if there's any dyscalculia groups on Facebook, and I come across the one for the dyscalculia forum, and they have this doosey on the description:
"Dyscalculics count too."
... Well, NO. We do, but very *badly*. So the double meaning is completely effed up. Cause my OCD mind is going, "But - I can't count big numbers! That's why I'm dyscalculic!!" I slightly prefer this one:
"Dyscalculia - when things just won't add up."
But I'm not a fan of laboured puns at the best of times.

Let me sum up.
