Which sequencer should I go with?
Mar. 9th, 2010 12:08 amOkay, I don't know what to do.
I used to use Sonar for my recording of songs, but unfortunately Sonar doesn't run too well on my laptop. So I thought maybe I should try other music programmes.
What I want to do is to be able to record audio, but also sequence midi and synth tracks. Which do I go with? I'm confused! I have great idea for blended electronica-audio stuff, but I don't have the software to do it. So I'm open for suggestions.

Live is awesome for electronica/loop based stuff, but not so great a fit for conventional recording (it does it, but its not its focus). You could grab a demo and see if you like it.

If you need any VST/midi instruments/FX let me know; I have a list of hundreds, all excellent, all free. :D
