Swimming so much on Wednesday has left me feeling very sore today. Which is a bummer, cause I wanted to go swimming again. :(

I'm putting this post here because I didn't really have the option of putting it on the other one. I know that means you don't want postings on it, but I have something to say.

I've been gone from LJ for 2 years, so I don't know shit about what happened to you. I only just read about it. I don't see how that changes my perspective on you, though. Maybe it's because somebody close to me went through the same thing and I still see her for who she is - not just as a victim.

I felt like it may do you good to hear that to me, you've always just been this extremely talented, kind, funny person. To me, you are Nancy Lorenz: badass artist and fic writer. I see you only for your work and for who you are.

That's all I have to say. I hope it isn't unwelcome.

P.S. - Also, (I don't know if you actually DID go swimming) but if in the future you go swimming (in the ocean) keep an eye out for sharks. Wouldn't want to lose an ass cheek ;)

It's okay, I know you know me for my work. That's how we met. I just hate the idea of "Hi, I was raped by this guy" as being my first impression on people. I was more talking to strangers. I just needed some time underground.

Oh, sorry, I was a bit distracted. Did you know a woman actually had her buttock bitten into by a shark? Or were you referring to that in particular?

We do have to be careful of sharks here. We have a lot of them and we keep eating their food.
