I'd like to be under the sea...

Super quick post before I get some sleep.
Went snorkelling with Dad today. The lovely justadecoy kindly gave me some old flippers and sand shoes, which I delightedly tried out today. It gave me a whole BUTTLOAD of confidence in the water. Well, getting IN and OUT of the water was a trial because I'm unco and didn't think to wait until I was in the water to put the flippers on. Cause I needed to see what I was doing or something. It was logical at the time. So I fell on my butt repeatedly. But once I was in the water, I had heaps of fun.
Diving down into the depths, exploring rocks and nooks and crannies. I dove for shells and I followed fishes! So awesome!
Dad's got an underwater case for his camera, so there's photos of my magical undersea realm that I'm sharing for the first time with you. It's very special!!

It's a fuckin' perfect day for snorkelling.

I don't know if my Dad knows how to take a flattering shot of me.

LOOKIT THE WATER! His name is FISHIE and he shall be my FISHIE!

Bloop bloop bloop!

This is the world where I escape everything - just float and exist and soak it all in.

Examine every little thing...

Every little rock...

I love how blue the water is.

Dad and I love that particular bit of the beach.

A rare sighting of mermaid butt!

Oh no, it's just me.

UNDERWATER TITTY SNAP! OH YEAH! In my Dad's defence, I was flipping around a lot in the water cause, well, the swell made it hard to keep still.

The shell beach up the coast, however, is BURIED in seaweed!

In the distance there were seagulls playing in the water, it was so still. There's something darling about seagulls in their natural environment.

I dipped down quite a ways to grab this clam shell set.

More shells.

You can't see the pearlescence of them. So pretty.

And I can't remember the last time I was at the beach. Years, certainly. Could be 10+ *boggles*
