If I've unfollowed you on Google Buzz and shit, don't be sad. I'm turning off Google Buzz and excising it from my google experience.

Probably will be using my gmail less than I already did. Cause shit - I do not want my personal info spread across the net.

if you don't want personal info spread on the net, don't put it online anywhere. It's the only sort of security that works properly. Having said that, I'm not using Buzz cos well, I much prefer using the already established network on Facebook. If it goes too far and falls over itself, then at least there is something else likely to step into the void it leaves, but for now i see it as unnecessary and likely to fail anyway.

You're 'splaining. And victim-blaming. All in one neat little package.

By saying this, what you are saying is that many people with disabilities should just give up on contact with the outside world; that people who've been abused shouldn't take part in any online social activism or conversation; and so on and so forth.

Buzz behaved in a way that no other social network has behaved. People had a reasonable expectation that things like their email address book would be private. Google have admitted that they were in the wrong.

I would love the luxury of never having to share my information on the net, but unfortunately my livelihood sort of depends on my notoriety, being an artist and writer and all.
