Okay, so some of our people were in a boat off the southern oceans.

And then they get RAMMED BY A FUCKING HUGE WHALER SHIP. It was by the grace of God (or not if you don't believe in that sort of thing) that those people weren't killed!

And Peter Garrett sits on his fucking thumbs and vomits in his own mouth on air. WHAT THE HELL?! WHAT THE BLOODY HELL?!

When are people in this world gonna fucking stand up for the whales? God frikkin' DAMN IT.

Ok, now I fixed that:

Yes, we have incontrovertible proof. We have footage of a huge bloody ship shearing a smaller, lighter chaser vessel in half.

Yeah, but (this getting pedantic of me, sorry) do we have proof that the big ship deliberately targeted the small one and rammed it? It's very hard to turn a big ship to ram a small ship, unless the small ship is deliberately not moving out of the way.

The only reason I'm following this line is because the extreme far-left have a habit of... let's say embellishing, and will take any opportunity for some publicity. This isn't me saying I'm on the side of the Japanese whalers, I'm not, it's just that as a cabinet member of a national government Peter Garrett isn't really free to comment properly on something like this without knowing all the facts involved.

Have watched the footage - am not convinced it was a deliberate ramming, although not ruling it out.

Even if it wasn't though, Japanese whalers - dudes! - if you've just torn the bow off another boat you do not keep shooting water jets at it you idiot fuckers!!

It's the fact that they kept spraying them with water that made me doubt they didn't try to destroy that ship. I'm open to the idea that it was a lucky hit for them though.
