Hey everyone.

I came up with an idea while shooting the breeze at Shakesville. A wikipedia for people to record possible trigger scenes or content in multimedia. Songs, books, movies, tv shows, fan-fiction, you name it.

Yeah, that'd be great. Basically, anything that people with assault trauma or PTSD (for whatever reason) might want to avoid. At the moment I'm seeking people to help me set this up.

Email me with some details. Movie name, song name, book name, whatever it is, with a very brief, clinical description of what is offensive about it. So... say, if a movie has a rape scene in it, some slut shaming and some misogyny, (Say, any Judd Apatow flick) then just say that. Rape scene, slut shaming, misogyny. I'll get the pages up, I just need the info.

It's an interesting idea. I'm not really sure I'd be able to help though... the only scenes/topics in media that really make me flinch are horribly graphic (or in the case of Sarah Connor Chronicles, horribly fake) motorcycle crashes.

I'll keep an eye out for helpers for you though.

I want this to be open to all people that have flashbacks to a traumatic event due to scenes in a movie. So if you've got any flicks that trigger you, I'm more than happy to list them for those reasons.

I can't see that movie with David Tennant. Just the one line where he's creepy is enough for me, and I love him as the Doctor too much to ruin it. I don't even like hearing real life gossip stories about him. Nope nope nope!
