Date: 2009-06-28 11:36 am (UTC)Oh yeah, apparently it ties into "The Incredible Hulk" very slightly and Tony Stark has a small cameo in that - just enough to establish that they take place in the same universe. Then eventually they're going to all come together to do the Avengers movie or something. Hm. Ambitious. ;)
Love me some Jon Favreau I tell you that much. Anyone who can use Gwyneth Paltrow that well gets kind words from me.

Date: 2009-06-28 11:32 am (UTC)Also, this movie put the definitive "Robert Downey Jr. can do no wrong no matter what movie he's in" cap on my growing affection for him. I was like 98% there after seeing "A Scanner Darkly", and this jolted me up to about 150%. *G* Possibly the only actor to have spent *years* in rehab and not only continue his career but actually remain incredibly talented... even WHILE he's recovering. Wow!
