i agree =o) i wish they would have gotten together.. and yanno, when Eli died they did a big thing for him. but when Joxer died, it didn't seem like it was such a big deal. it upset me a little. T_T

Yep. The GJRS (Gabrielle Joxer Romantic Society) took a huge hit when it happened. Not because he died, but because they valued him so little, that they gave him that end, and then thought they could fix their mistake by replacing him with Joxer!Lite (His son Virgil). Who the subbies and the bitexters just looooove, by the way, because he's good looking. Yeah. I'm not impressed either.

I keep writing fanfic so that Joxer can have the life he *should* have had. *nods* The character deserves that.

if i could get back into writing i would love to try my hand at joxer fic. unfortunately, the last bit of fanfiction i wrote was for seaQust and that was years ago.

Have you heard of the JFFG? (Joxer Fan Fiction Guild). I formed it back when Joxer writers were pretty alienated from the fandom. (We don't exist at all now, it seems). The old website is full of fanfic, lots of it.

I was pissed the moment they did the 25 year jump, since that nixed any hope of GJ on the show (not that TPTB would go there anyway). And his death made me all kinds of angry. Joxer deserved SO much better.
