When I was getting ready to turn in, there was an Australian reporter talking about the atmosphere in DC right now. The celebrations, the singing in the streets. It was then a gathering of people could be heard nearby, singing. They were singing "Somebody to Lean On", which has some very peaceful, loving lyrics in it.

Damn you, Americans. I had *just* got the goofy grin off my face!
