logansrogueI went snorkelling *again* today! With my Dad. I like having fun time with Dad, especially as we can get along badly at times. Whenever we're at the beach, we get along wonderful.
The water was as blue and sparkling as yesterday. A bit more swell but nothing I couldn't handle. Whiting AND whitebait! I swam with a shoal of the little silver darting ones today, it was so invigorating and uplifting! I took the breathing tube out of the snorkel too and dipped under the water like a mermaid, splashing and dolphin-swimming. I felt like I was one with the water. I sang my favourite ocean songs as I romped in the waves. Heart songs mostly, LOL! "Headin' out each mornin, into the sun. Riding on the diamond waves, my little darling one! Warm wind caress her, her lover it seems! Oh Annie, Dreamboat Annie, little ship of dreams!" And "Far away today... Mama ocean hold me to you. Come on, rock me on your waves, tell me, is this all true?" That line and "Kindest lover, I can't stay alone tonight, come on bring me all your love, here and now... come rushin' to me." And the waves go SPLOOSH in the soundtrack. He he. I just flail around like a sick sea lion in the water, which is probably not wise considering the current shark problem.
Aaaanyway, it was a lovely afternoon all told. Moustache Guy was back. Doesn't he have a fucking job? LOL!
I'm considering looking into what sort of snorkel kits there are out there. The ones I use with Dad keep letting the water in and I hate getting salt water up my nose in huge amounts. And I'd like it in pink. Because I'm silly like that.
Tickets to the Big Day Out come first though. MUST SEE NEIL YOUNG!
