It is. It really, really is. I had dreams about it the other night. In my dream I was playing it. I wasn't sitting at a computer or anything, it was like the dream WAS Spore. I was making creatures - I think that's my favourite bit of the game.
Is Spore one of those games that causes situations like the following? "It's midnight I better go to bed. I'll just finish this bit up here..." ** time passes ** "WTF? How did it get to be 5am?"
