I have Animal Crossing for the GameCube, so I'm not sure what's the same and what's different, but have you managed to catch some bees yet? I've had this game for years, yet they elude me still. *sigh*

I saw some bees before, but the character I was playing had no tools (I got her on the day Tom Nook was setting up bigger shop in the thought that maybe I might circumvent his being closed, and I did until she finished her chores with him, then he was closed again, the motherfucker). I aim to try to catch one.

My sister went on about Animal Crossing when she had it on her Gamecube, but I never played it. I resist consoles. I guess it stems from my childhood snobbery. Everyone was playing atari and my brother went and got the Commodore 64. I was like, "Console? Cartridges? DUDE. This one has a KEYBOARD. It takes DISKS, bitch!" But I just like typing shit, I think.

But DS is different - it's totally portable. This makes it really really fucking awesome. I love having a portable game system SO MUCH. All those little moments where I was left to wait in boredom - now FILLED WITH TINY PIXEL GOODNESS!!
