What's that funky chair that's next to the controls of the TARDIS? You know the one, the Doctor throws himself down on it sometimes to have emo attacks.

(Also, am I the only one that has fantasies of the Doctor fucking her on one of those things?)

What is it? It's a chair!!

I don't know - from memory it's something the design team added in on the grounds that something that shakes around like crazy every second episode should probably have chairs with seatbelts.

I think I've seen it described in fics as the "pilot's chair." I have no idea WHY, but sounds good to me. *G*
