There's a certain feeling of *total control* and security that I have when it's my own work I'm obsessing over. Nobody can pull crack shithouse pairings on me, my characters aren't going to turn around and be totally different to how I originally saw them. It's nice.

And you know you're writing something interesting if you can't wait to get back to writing. Like, you're in LOVE with writing and you have this burning, mad need to get to it. (Eirian - I'm talking about We'll Meet Again!). I love it when it's like that.
