I can only hope and pray that I'm not the only one who found it INTENSELY funny that the panel with the line about "another series of blow jobs" contains almost exclusively heavily-muscled, dripping wet young men. ^_^ I suppose it is vaguely possible that it wasn't a visual Freudian slip, but... I'm doubting it. XD

Rob Liefield's art is even more barf-worthy than usual, :P I was going to say that he's one of the few artists out there whose style gets sloppier as he goes along, but then I remembered John Byrne and plenty of other undeservedly "big names"... so I withdraw that statement. ;D

LOL. I think they were *trying* to malign Marvel somehow, to say they were pussies compared to their "EXXXXXXXTREME HEROES" as someone put it, but it just ended up making them look really, REALLY gay.

There's a reason these guys never made any money and Liefeld went under.

It's an Image comic. Apparently it didn't do very well. Heaven knows why that was. :T

That's what I thought. I've only read one Image comic (damned if I remember what it was -- one storyline had the lead heroine, Caitline I think, crushing on the team's mentor... WildC.A.T.S., I think it was), and owned some of the cards they produced. That's my only knowledge of Youngblood. I recognized the title font from a comic card made circa 1996.
