Watching documentaries on hauntings.

I'm totally serious. Mum was watching free movies from jonh.com or net or some place like that, and I was watching them with her. I haven't clung to her and whimpered like that since I was a kid watching a UFO documentary for the first time.

It's now 12:30 and I am so fucking freaked out and scared that I'm too scared to go into my room. I had to take the cat with me to the toilet to pee, and when I went to the bathroom, I had to have her wait for me outside of the shower. And I was STILL scared. EEP.

I'd have half a valium if I didn't already have some last night to try to get to sleep at a decent hour (instead of four in the morning). Which didn't work. Cause I went to sleep and twelve and woke up at 2:30 in the arvo. I don't know HOW I managed that.

Oh, Happy Birthday, Molly. I luuuurve you! In honour of this day, I think my uterus has decided to have a day off, even though it started sort-of-bleeding two days ago.

In the total WTF department, Channel Ten has picked up Torchwood. HUH?! It's advertising, "This is Captain Jack Harkness. Captain JACK is coming!"

Uhm... WHY will people care? Channel Ten has NEVER shown an episode of Doctor Who!! Did they just spot the clips of people being raunchy and decide, "FUCK YEAH, let's get this ON!" It's soooo weird to see a BBC show advertised like that. Channel Ten is pure trash and Torchwood - well, maybe it WILL be a happy marriage. I love me some Torchwood but high-brow entertainment it is not.

(And my fingers keep typing "Towchwood". I think my fingers are channelling Babawa Wawa or something).

Channel 10 picked up Torchwood because the ABC turned it down on arguments of low quality.

They have an excellent point. Torchwood is trash. But it's silly, sci-fi trash with Jack Harkness who I would watch reading a phone book if necessary. And Gwen. Ohhhh, my girlcrush on Gwen knows no bounds. (Oh, wait, yes, it does. Watching her boff the lizard-faced git).

Ten may be trashy, but they do have the habit of picking up the odd gem. "Numb3rs" and "House, M.D." come to mind.

Although from what I hear, "Torchwood" is one of those series that deserves to languish on the DVD shelves forever.

And does he have beer flavoured nipples or something? Why does almost every female character either sleep with him (Gwen, Suzie, the aviator (can't remember her name)) or want to sleep with him (Tosh)? I just don't see the appeal. Unless he's been abusing the alien pheromone device again.

Oh, yes, forgot to add: one of the reasons why I loved the cat we had growing up was because that lovely old lady-cat used to come sleep on the end of my bed - and she started right when I first started to realise why I hated the old graveyard so much. Of course, she also loved the patting she got in the middle of the night, when I woke up and realised the monster couldn't get me because Socks was right there beside me.

Or, in other words, Rogue is probably loving the attention, don't feel bad that you're snuggling her.

Ack, don't watch that shit before going to bed unless you want to be hiding under the covers all night. I think I freaked out for a week after watching "Abducted." Although it seems bizarre aliens would fly hundreds of lightyears across the universe just to stick something up our ass ... maybe interstellar colonscopies? :/

Anyway ... cats have many uses and one is to snuggle with at night. *sighs* I miss my white kitty Snowcap, she'd always be in my bed waiting for me.

Oh, alien abduction stories scare me too, but not as much as ghost stories. Hah. If the aliens come at me with the intergalactic colonoscopy, I'll be like, "Gimme the best drugs from your planet, man! This'll be awesome!" Cause my colonoscopy? So not so bad! A breeze compared to some of the shit I had to go through with the laparoscopy!!
