UGH!

I'm having the *hardest* time downing this horrid liquid. I don't know what to do. I'm having a gag reflex every time I swallow it, I'm really scared I'll just vomit it up again. I'm supposed to have gone through the first litre by now - I'm hardly through the first glass!

I honestly don't know what to do or how to cope. It's very upsetting cause I'm going to screw up my own colonoscopy!

You won't mess it up. Drink as much as you can; it's supposed to clear out your system, so of course your body doesn't like it. I know it's hell. Hang in there and it will be over soon. *hug*

You're doing okay hon. Don't put yourself under so much pressure ... it just makes it harder. I know by now you've probably already had the deed done ... and next time ask if there's a new drink. My mom got quite ill on the previous ones but this new drink was pretty gentle on her system (besides having to poo a lot.) Hang in there girl ... and after it's done ... have some really good food! *hugs*

That's okay hon. No worries. They only give you so much to make sure you're really cleaned out. Good luck on your colonoscopy. I should get one done myself due to my IBS. :/

I hope I'm cleaned out enough. I'm freaking out. I'm scared they won't let me do the procedure, and I've gone through so much horridness.

They probably will let you go through it. My mom wasn't cleaned out completely for a colonoscopy a year ago so they went as far as they could just to see what was going on.

They give you way more than you need, because they know you'll either not be able to finish it, or you will er, reject some of it. As long as it flushed your system you should be fine. Of course, since it's 7:22 a.m. in New York, you'll be all done by the time you read this down under.

Yep. Done the deed! Was a piece of piss. Well, compared to a laparoscopy anyhoodles! The drugs were fucking AWESOME, man, my favourite bit of the whole procedure.
