Okay. So I'm having a colonoscopy this Monday (sorry for the TMI, folks!). I have to stop eating solids on Sunday. I have to stop taking poo-stopping pills (I haven't had any anti-headache pills for days, other than my Endep and my propranolol). So I have a headache as a result. Ow. Ow ow ow ow ow.

I'm also enjoying food while I can. Somehow I keep thinking it'll make me less hungry. Probably not. LOL.

I am SO not looking forward to Monday. Blah.

Oh! Oh oh! Met Lissanne today! She's a bunch of fun, we went trolling through souvenir shops for things for her family and friends, had a lovely brunch at Miss Maud's and had a wander up London Court (Diagon Alley!). Every Potter fan needs to see London Court :D. I gave her a glossy print of the new HP pic I did - she got to see it first. :D And I showed her some of the sketches I've done. Which reminds me - I need to scan in that never-before-seen Hermione picture I had in there.

Ooh! I bought myself some fuzzy mini-uggs. You know, the ones that just cover your feet. Slipper things. SOOOO soft on my feet, it's like someone gently cradling your foot! Mum got me flip-flop fuzzy slippers too (I'd asked her for some and we got them on the same day in different places LOL!). They're also very gentle on the ol' footsies, and better for slightly warmer weather.

Anyway, my head hurts, I'm-a go to bed now. I can finally download the most recent ep of Doctor Who tomorrow - stupid cap on our ADSL! Whoo!

Hope the colonoscopy goes well. Do you have to drink something to help "clean you out" as well? My mom had that done recently and thank God it wasn't as bad as the last time she had it (she got really sick). I know I should get one - given my abdominal problems. :/

Ugh, yes, I do have to drink stuff. I'm not looking forward to it. The last time I had to drink stuff I nearly vomited. :(

Being OLD, I've had two colonoscopies already. They aren't much fun, but actually the prep is much worse than the actual procedure (for which they will probably put you under with a drug called Versed). Good luck, sweetie :) And I'm glad you got to meet Lissanne. You're way ahead of me there :D

My colonoscopy was a breeze. Sure the not eating part was not that fun, seeing as I love eating and if I go a few hours without eating I'm sad (why don't I weigh over 100kg? lol). The colonoscopy itself was fine. I walked in, a nice nurse prepped me, they wheeled me into the theatre and then before I knew it they were injecting the drug and I woke up back in the observation ward. It's aaalll good. And I had a fun high for the rest of the day. Wheeeeeeeeeee!

It's pretty grotty. I think I mixed it with cordial and that helped. It's just a tad weird and salty. It's the volume that's the bitch. If you're not used to drinking a lot of water it makes you feel crook. But yeah, mix it with cordial.

Mum got me this lemon stuff. You know, that lemon cordial I used to drink all the time.

My mom drank a new drink ... sounds like "Hollywood Prep" even though it was spelled a different way. For the first time my mom didn't vomit taking the drink.
