logansrogue: (My Uterus Hates Me)
[personal profile] logansrogue
It's day 30 in my cycle and I've not started bleeding yet. Not properly anyway. I got a little spotting but then my uterus promptly stopped again. And I'm having jabbing, awful pains all through my pelvis. It's really quite worrying. I might phone the doctor tomorrow and make an appointment or something cause it's totally wigging me out.

S'far as I know, these are perfectly normal fluctuations in your monthly cycle... I wouldn't worry about it, since those things are governed by hormones, which vary according to stress, mood, etc.

Yeah, but I have endometriosis and my cycle has been consistently on 26-27 days for the past four months, plus I'm having certain rather alarming pains, see.

I hope you get better soon.
I think it would indeed be a good idea to see a doctor if you are in such a pain.
*hugs*

Mine behaved similarly recently. Right down to being (even for me) unexpectedly late, and additionally making with the stabby stabby pains for about a week and a half prior (unusual for me). It was odd enough that i did a pregnancy test... (negative).

The only baby I'd be having is God's. Which, come to think of it, I wouldn't mind so much if it weren't for the fact that I want to be made love to by Jesus, not BEAR him in my womb. Not that I wouldn't be honoured, mind you, but still.

Point being - I have had an utter drought of sex in my life for the past two years. No pokey-pokey for me. *sigh*

Usually its not an issue, but there was my anniversary you see :P

Otherwise I'd be just wondering wtf was going on.

Hope it starts quickly and isn't awful at you.

... That would be one hell of an Oedipus complex. *hides*

Here, have a cheerful icon!

It would be so many complexes, I'd lose count.

A cyst, maybe?

I'm afraid I can't get rid of my ridiculously heavy periods, so I'd have no idea what to do if it -didn't- come.

But pains are no good. Maybe you should consider ODing on ibuprofin.

Nah, ibuprofen does nothing. I have these super anti-inflammatories usually perscribed to people with arthritis. Strangely, the best thing for me outside of codeine is a couple of panadol and a couple of buscopan (anti-spasmodics).
