I'm having SO MUCH PAIN today. And yesterday. And the day before. Three days of utter pain. I'm coming close to having enough. :( I guess I better heat up my heat-pack again.

STOP ME FROM GETTING INVESTED IN HARRY POTTER AGAIN. PLEASE. I've been spending all afternoon reading all sorts of theories and things and I'm starting to give a shit about the seventh book. I DON'T WANT TO! I want my apathy back! WAAAH!

I just hope upon hope that KickArse!Hermione comes back. That's all I care about. KickArse!Hermione and NotATwat!Harry. *begs God* Please, pretty please! With sprinkles on top?

There are only two things I care about: The return of Hermione (she went away in book 6 and put a bad copy in her place) and for Harry to keep living.. JKR CAN'T kill Harry... but if I keep thinking that, I'm sure she'll kill him just to say "that's life, people die. Here, I'm a fantastic author and can kill my most beloved character"

I'm holding myself back from getting invested in HP again too. I guess too much disappointment does that to a person. *sigh* I just hope JKR doesn't blow it this time. And with the last book too... :/

Aaieee. I'm going to miss 'Book Time'. Unlike a bunch of Potter fans (not all by a long shot), I'm a fandom veteran. I know what it's like to run out of books by an author that you love (HG Wells, Agatha Christie, Douglas Adams) and I've also been sad of my beloved canon material ending, particularly in a way I wish it hadn't (Xena), so I kinda have the coping mechanisms in place for what's to come (hopefully!).

Still. I've been looking forward to the 'next book' for years. It's going to be weird not having the next one to wait for.

I'm doing a spoiler service at my journal, so don't read the book. Just wait until I get my grubby hands on it, have read it, and put it up on my journal in form of spoilers. Like, who dies and shit. I'll even make a count on how many times Ginny's hair bounced or danced, and exactly what stupid reaction JK thought the pants monster should have to that. And one special cut for return of beloved characters thought dead, should we be so blessed. Such as Asskicking!Hermione and Tomboy!Ginny. (Yes, Tomboy!Ginny died in childbirth, but I still cling to my ideal Ginny!)
