Wow. My urge to see this movie just bottomed out. No, it didn't just bottom out - it fell through the fucking floor.

awww sounds like suckage :( I saw The Mummy Returns and lovd it, waiting to see The Mummy, but it will suck if TM3 doesn't have all the same actors :(

What? All I've heard about TM3 is that its set in 1947, and its gonna focus more on the kid (whose name is escaping me atm) and have cool guns.
But yeah, I'm not as excited if the original cast isn't back. Not excited at all. :(

Yeah... Universal really shot themselves in the foot with this one... all the opinion I've heard has been very negative, especially with the exclusion of Fehr reprising Ardeth Bay. There was - last I heard, but things change so quickly - talk of Brendan and Rachel being somehow involved, but... not holding my breath.

Maybe we could convince them to do a Mummy spinoff series of films focussing on the Medjai. I'd write the script for them, honest... :)
