I got him. I NAILED THE BASTARD! Not in the way I'd hoped, but I've done a drawing and it looks somewhat like him. I cannot tell you how thrilled I am!!

Hehe absolutely! And yeah, he was my first Doctor to love too. I absolutely loved Tom Baker as Rasputin as well, so he's doubly cool.

No! Nononononono!! Oh Nancy you drew him with Tony Blair's skeletal features! Tony Blair's nose. The antishadowed indent above the nose and eyebrows. The mandible is close, but waaay too inswept at the outer edges near the neck. Oh my god it's like the most bizarre mutant hybrid and now I'm choking on my dinner because it's so freakishly good but so slightly off!! Like a favourite auntie who you haven't seen for a while who's had plastic surgery!

I have to admit - you really hurt my feelings. I worked so hard on it and I knew I didn't have it exactly right, but I felt I'd captured something of his essence. To have you say all those things - it kinda brought tears to my eyes.

Hahaha. The thought of me being any kind of BNF cracks me up. The problem would be that I would endlessly draw Tennant and Barrowman. I luuuuurve those boys. Though the new girl (I forget her name cause I'm having a brain fart) might be some fun to draw. She looks spunky.

(No, I don't hate Rose, I adore her, I just don't feel that moved to draw her - yet).
