Finally, a date!

Hey guys!

I finally have a date for my surgery. I'll be going in on the 12th of September! I'm so scared and excited at the same time!! I have to go on a special low-fibre diet. I don't know why. How am I ever going to poo? I'm having a hard enough time shitting as it is!

I've got an awful migraine today. I think it's the strawberry champagne I had last night that did it. I only had one glass after dinner. *sigh*

I've started on page 9 of my comic. It's going quicker than the last page. Hopefully I'll get this one done in a couple of days.

Good luck with your surgery!!!

I couldn't eat anything with fiber in it two days before my colonoscopy and nothing more solid than non-red jello the day before. I also had to take Milk of Magnesia and Fleet phospho-soda to clean me out (it was a joyous experience). Do you have to do something similar for your low fiber diet?

I have NO idea. They sent me the low-fibre diet thing, and it's a week to go, but they didn't tell me when to start or anything.

That's really strange that they would send you that without further instructions. Don't you love it when drs and hospitals expect you to be a mind reader?
