FUCKING MICE!

I don't know why I'm not sleeping right now.

Oh wait, no, I do. I keep getting woken by the MICE under my WARDROBE chucking a fucking RAVE.

They squeak, they fight, they run along the runners, they scratch things. I can't SLEEP. It's driving me NUTS!

And you know, I just want to get rid of them. But the karma, people. The GUILT. I couldn't stand holding the body of a dead mouse, knowing *I* killed it. I can't tell you how much of a torment it is. Just today Scotty caught a mouse with a humane mouse trap. I watched it twitch its little whiskers in the bottle it was caught in, and I totally forgot that THAT thing is what's been driving me nuts. I cooed at it and said hello, then felt sad cause it had to now duke it out in the park around the corner, where it could be killed by cats, or birds, or poison or traps. Anything! But I felt better about that cause it wouldn't be ME doing it.

I just - I really can't take the guilt. I know, it's stupid. I hate them and get so angry at them, but when I look them in the eye - I just - it's a living thing! I can't even kill a fucking spider!! Seriously! I just get someone to take them outside if they're big, or I trap them myself and move them. I don't even kill crickets or bugs. Cockroaches, YES, if they're the dirty disease spreading kind. But not the wood cockroaches - they're beautiful. Big red shiny wings!

Okay. I gotta TRY to get to sleep. I'm going to write, play a bit of super pile-up, then go to sleep!

I can only kill mosquitos and banana flies. Everything else is shooed towards the window. (Maybe if you catch them you can see if a petshop would want them? 'Course then you'd have to go to a vet with them or something, I think.)

Naah, they're vermin, and not people-friendly. (Though ours aren't scared of us a jott, little fuckers!)
