As much as I don't like Bush's stance on alot of things, I do like a lot of what the party stands for...I'm Libertarian, but I vote prodominately Republican because the democrats are all about giving away everyone else's money and resources while the democratic politicians keep their own. At least the Republicans will admit that they are greedy. XP

I'm not talking about greed, darl. I'm talking about human rights! Bush mixes up religion with politics. Supporting one thing about him is supporting ALL things about him. He has to go.

Now, I'm not saying ALL Republicans are evil. There are republicans that want to get rid of Bush, too. If I were American, I'd be voting anything but Republican until the Idiot In Charge is gone.

You know what's really bizarre? (Or not, I'm high at the moment so it seems really weird to me).

It's like the Liberal govt. is doing EVERYTHING it can to look like a pack of douchebags, even to the people that tend to support them. I mean, with every issue that comes up, they keep adopting really bizarrely extreme stances that your general Australian will NOT like. eg. Nuclear Power. Yeah, Aussies REALLY love that option, considering the huge amount of nuclear power here. Whether it's safe or not, it's just not something I think people would support, you know?

Bush, Howard, Harper, Blair - gah, why are all of the major leaders of the Anglophone world such assholes? At least when Harper leaves, likely given that it's a conservative minority government, Canada will probably still be more or less sane. Maybe we should all head there - they let same-sex couples wed, so that's a good sign.
