I am up, yet again, at 5-6am. This is really weird. The only good thing about this is that I get to see dawn AND dusk every day. That's kinda nice. That and I get to see Xena in the mornings when she's bright and loveable.

I just wake up SO hungry and I can't go back to sleep. It's really odd. :T

Whelp - It's Australia Day today! Whee! Happy day of the Australia! It shall be fun to celebrate! In some way. Maybe I can start with vegemite toast for breakfast? *laugh* There's nothing quite like the melting of margarine on toasty bread with that burst of vegemite on it - MMM! Deeeelicious.

Actually I might just have cheesies, that's what I was planning on eating. I eat SO BADLY. I should have the toasted muesli I have but I really don't feel like it, and when I don't feel like eating something, if I make myself eat it I get vomitous. I do, I feel like puking it right back up again. Weird, that.

I was very close to having a dream about snogging David Tennant. Very odd. I'm not even a huge fan of his.

The wind is very COLD this morning and I don't like it. I want it to be warm cause my footsies are chilled. I'd put on socks, but pink socks with mint green pants?! EW! Can I even do that to myself? I'm kidding. I don't even know where my socks are. Probably somewhere in the fallout zone that is my bedroom.

I'm going through a Kate Bush kick. Yes, I know, how can I go through a 'kick' when I love her all the time anyway? Well, I got ALL the songs of her that I have on CD, dumped them onto the PC, burned all the mp3s of them onto a CD so I can listen to them on random while I'm writing. I love me some KB. *happy sigh* I get songs of her stuck in my head and I thoroughly enjoy it. Right now it's Night of the Swallow which is a fucking awesome song. "There's no risk! I'll whisk them up in no moonlight! Tonight is the night of the flight, before you know it I'll be over the water... like a swallow!" That bit is in a skipping celtic beat, fuck it's good. *inspired, impressed sigh*. She's recorded her voice above certain emotional parts of the vocals, all high and warbly - like a swallow!! - in perfect harmony. Fuck that is so great.

I owe the world another recap. I'll have to dust off the funny and peruse the caps and see what I can do. I'm not keen to drink alcohol cause it's made me sick lately. I'm just going to have to be stupid off my own steam. Or maybe I can eat some Nerds or something and get high off the chemicals in those. (Though the high number of those I ate as a kid might have made me immune to their acidic food-additive packed powers...)

Gosh, my cat is so delicate and lady-like, sitting there with her legs wide open as she munches on her kitty-tits to get rid of fleas. So like her Mummy.

Oh! I just remembered! I have skittles! YES!

I honestly didn't know she was like that when I bought her. She was all bouncy and demanding that I take her. When an adorable little kitten (and if she's that cute in the second photo, can you imagine how KILLERLY ADORABLE she was as a baby?!) screams at you from her cage, "YOU! TAKE ME HOME!" you just don't ignore that. Especially when they climb into your outstretched palm and nuzzle your chin. And I was walking her home, thinking of names. "Nefertiri?"

"Xena," says Helen.

"Aww, but I don't want to lump her with that name."

Something compelled me to call her Xena, despite the fact I didn't want to call her that, that I wanted to call her something pretty like Nefertiri. That's her middle name. Xena was just destined to be called Xena. And she completely fits the name, perfectly.
