I've gotten a bit pouty and depressed. You know why? Ready for it? You will laugh.

Burnt cheesies.

That's right. Toasted bread coated in cheese, burnt to blackness, has me in near tears. Because I was REALLY looking forward to that food and now I don't know if I have the energy to make it again. I had completely forgotten about the cheesies cause I am so out of it.

FUCK!!! I feel like such a fucking invalid!!

ETA: Roasted muesli... how you are my saviour. *rubs full tummy happily*

It is a proven fact that chronic pain (which you HAVE, undiagnosed endo or not) causes depression. Depression can add to your fatigue, as well as your weepies.

When you see that doctor next month, ask about it.

Yeah. *nods* I just don't know what to do. I have burnt cheesies in the bin and I don't feel like eating anything, but I'm ravenous. *sigh*

That is what delivery is for, m'dear ;)

Or, in a financial pinch, friends.

Do y'all eat mozzerella sticks and cheese curds (also deep fried) down there?

Erm, no. We have these toasted pastry sticks with cheese all over the top of them. Never heard of cheese curds.

I ended up having some meusli - easy to make, tasted nice. My family would never actually make anything for me! They'd tell me to get up off my lazy arse and do it myself! LOL!

Mozz Sticks are battered and deep fried, served with marinara sauce or ranch dressing.

Cheese curds -- the thing that cheese is before its pressed into shapes -- generally refer to cheddar cheese, also battered and deep fried, eaten with the condiment of your choice, like a french fry (chips) would be.

Your earlier description of cheesies in the original post made me ask... the two American (and the second, specifically Midwestern US) treats would be right up your alley :)

I'm sure I'd love it, it's the fat content that'd bother me!

Mozz sticks aren't bad... its a low fat cheese.

Besides, we need the calories up here in Wisconsin, winter is freakin' cold!

Wisconsin - ah, now I understand the cheese love. *ducks* LOL. I'm so glad the winter is mild here in Perth. At the moment it's sunny and warm, it's 6:28 and the sun is low in the sky, setting in probably about twenty minutes to half an hour. Cool breeze, warm air... perfect Christmas weather! The kids (my nephews) are playing and Dad's building the extension to the kitchen. It's so effing sweet and picturesque I might die. LOL.

i remember the last time i cried over food - i was so tired and hungry and id made myself a bowl of megoreng in the microwave and was tipping the water into the sink and dropped the bowl. the bowl shattered, my megoreng went everywhere.

of course no megoreng left to make another, and that was the only bowl that fit megoreng and there was no other food in the house etc.

very sad tale
