Corset/stay update

Good news. I've got the hang of sewing the vinyl. You'll scream, but you know what ended up working the best? Rubbing talcum powder all over the vinyl in a very thin layer. It made the vinyl nice and smooth so that the vinyl stopped sticking to the metal foot of the sewing machine. There's a bit of gathering on one side of the stay but nothing huge. The rest, hopefully, will go more smoothly. If God loves me. Let's hope He does.

I ended up deciding to dress as a pirate for that halloween party, as per your suggestion. Now I need to finish my cotume. Argh (or should that be "Aaarrrrr?").
