logansrogue: (Bring it On!)
[personal profile] logansrogue
My guts are hurting again. I'm supposed to go to school today but ugh - my pelvis. I'll do this meme instead.

Step One (We can have lots of fun!)

- Make a post (public, friendslocked, filtered...whatever you're comfortable with) to your LJ. The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fandom-related ("I'd love a Snape/Hermione icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.") The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.

- If you wish for real life things (not fics or icons), make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you.

- Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your LJ, or link to this post (it'll be public) so that the holiday joy will spread.

Step Two (there's so muuuuch we can doooo)

- Surf around your friendslist (or friendsfriends, or just random journals) to see who has posted their list. And now here's the important part:

- If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use--or even know where you could get someone's dream purebred Basset Hound for free--do it.

You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf--to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not--it's your call.

There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just...wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.

My Wish List...

10. That my guts will stop hurting. Yeah, I know, not happening.
9. All the eps of Numb3rs so far on disc so I can play catch up and do my ep reviews.
8. A trip to the dentist to fill the huge holes in my teeth.
7. Someone special to spend the holidays with.
6. A really NICE desktop of David Krumholtz. A NICE one. Well designed! With his face on the right of screen so he's not eaten up by icons. In 1280x1024 size.
5. Chocolate. I love chocolate.
4. Pirate things.
3. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory pirate copy! GOD DAMN IT! I haven't been able to download it successfully yet and I've tried like FOUR TIMES!! Nice DVD english copy, fuck it all!
2. A G-spot stimlator dildo. My other one broke. *sob*
1. A comfortable pair of roman-style flat sandals for the summer.

Dude. I will *always* have a thing for gold. At my gig this week? I wore a gold lamé halter-top thing with gold bead decorations in my hair and shit.

I. Love. Gold. LOL!

The 17-year-old-child will cover her ears and her eyes at all mention of...devices, and move on.

I am in California and am a bit limited on resources, buuuuut me thinks pirate things and chocolate are doable. Remember, we have See's Candy over here. ;)

Favorite types of chocolate?

Milk. Not Hersheys. Reeses is heaven for me, because it's grossly expensive over here thanks to import charges. Anything with peanut butter and chocolate.

And oh. It's been *years* since I've had a babe ruth. If you help me, I will so be thankful.

...I adore you. I'm over here plotting the sending of gormet-(like) chocolates, and all you want is for me to stalk up at the vending machines at school. I could kiss you.

Dude! No way! Don't gourmet me! I like cheap american candy! Except Hersheys. Cause I bought a bunch of them and it was like eating vaguely chocolate-flavoured soap.

Besides. We have *really* good chocolate here in Australia. No need to impress me. I went to America four years ago and I enjoyed the common chocolates a LOT. I miss me some of that peanutty US of A goodness.

I MIGHT be able to do this one. But I'm not making any promises (broke way too many of them). :$ Is that alright?
