I was interested about how what I share with my friends in LJ isn't just fandom related, in the specific sense. It's not particular TV Shows or books that I have in common with people - it's general, wide-ranging topics and hobbies more than anything. That makes me very happy. It means I'm friends with a certain *kind* of person - generally creative, playful, fun people who do the same sort of things I do, even if we don't share the exact same fandom interest. :)
