Still cute without the eye-patch. He sat so still while I did this. Then fifteen minutes into it all (an eternity for an impatient cat), he decides he's been good enough and starts trying to get away. Yet he still sits still when I ask him.

What an angel.

Just tell him he's lucky not to have been bitten by a brown snake. Cats that have been bitten by a brown snake get a temporary paralysis - they just lie on the ground for 3 or 4 days, then get better, but boy are they pissed off!

And honest-to-god, the test for if your cat was bitten by a brown snake is to drop them on the floor. If they can't land on their feet, you got yourself a diagnosis!
