The Best. Essay. Ever.

Seriously. Like, before this essay, I was all "Well, H/Hr may or may not happen." After reading this essay, I think that if it doesn't happen, I'll be blown away. Because it fits SO beautifully, and if it's done the way it's described in this essay, it will be the single-most beautiful romance this side of the century. *le sigh*

You do realise that if Hermione is his soror mystica thats literally saying she is symbolically his sister! Eww!

I love it cause it makes complete sense of the 'circle' symbolism that keeps popping up with H/Hr!

You haven't seen the web site friends made us for OUR wedding, have you? :-)

I was just teasing - but soror IS latin for sister.

That's one of the things I like about the H/Hr fans: they really seek out the details. I've read a number of really amazing essays like this one, drawing from any number of sources from literature to mysticism to philosophy to mythology, to make connection after connection.

As opposed to so many of the R/Hr arguments, which tend to be:

a) They fight all the time, and people who are in love fight all the time, so they must be in love. (Being both in love and married -- to the same person no less -- I find this narrow line of thinking very insulting.)

b) If Harry gets the girl, what about poor Ron? He'll be marginalized! (Cry me a frickin river.)

c) i love rupert i want to mary him he shpld get the girl (Ack. Feh. Bleah.)

Tell me about it. I'm never very impressed with their essays. H/Hr just makes so much sense to may. I figure I may be biased and entirely insane, or I may be reading the logical conclusion. Only JKR knows for sure. (That should be a t-shirt).
