Jan. 18th, 2005 10:18 pmThe Best. Essay. Ever.
Seriously. Like, before this essay, I was all "Well, H/Hr may or may not happen." After reading this essay, I think that if it doesn't happen, I'll be blown away. Because it fits SO beautifully, and if it's done the way it's described in this essay, it will be the single-most beautiful romance this side of the century. *le sigh*

ETA: OMFG!! I was looking at some Alchemical symbolism, and LOOK! Total coincidence, but GOD that's funny! Go Neville!!

Date: 2005-01-21 07:54 am (UTC)As opposed to so many of the R/Hr arguments, which tend to be:
a) They fight all the time, and people who are in love fight all the time, so they must be in love. (Being both in love and married -- to the same person no less -- I find this narrow line of thinking very insulting.)
b) If Harry gets the girl, what about poor Ron? He'll be marginalized! (Cry me a frickin river.)
c) i love rupert i want to mary him he shpld get the girl (Ack. Feh. Bleah.)
