Just watched "The King's Speech". Absolutely *brilliant*. One of those rare movies where there wasn't a bum note in the production. Only weakness was Timothy Spall's over-the-top depiction of Churchill. But I don't like Timothy Spall, so I'm probably biased. He just stuck out like a sore arsehole. And oh, I wanted to like whatserface as Lionel's wife, but her Australian accent was *terrible*. Her acting was lovely, she did such a nice job, but the accent hurt my ears. Especially next to Geoffrey Rush's beautifully spoken Australian accent.

But other than that, it was fantastic. Absolutely loved it, I'm going to get it on blu-ray as soon as it comes out, methinks.
