If you pray, we could use those prayers.
Dec. 25th, 2010 06:46 pmHey everyone.
I wish I could say I was having a merry Christmas. Unfortunately, my nephew Johnny, who has severe cerebral palsy and has a feeding button, is currently in hospital. He's been having problems with his button, ulcerations around it (it's a little tube which they put the liquid food into for him). Currently he's in the ICU. He has a blood infection, and things are looking very grim.
We're all praying our arses off, but I'm not sure what God has in store for us. My heart is breaking for my sweetheart little Johnny. He's inspired me and brought me hope in ways I couldn't tell you.
Our family are all together, and we're all trying to soldier on. I just wanted to let you know that I'm extra sensitive and probably a little withdrawn. If shit goes down, I'll probably be quiet for a day or two. Or, you know, I might throw myself into internetting to cope.
All my love to you,
Nancy.
ETA: Johnny's temperature has gone down, and he's been made comfortable. Mum says he looks better than he did the last time he was horribly sick in hospital. We don't know what's going to happen yet, but Johnny's temperature going down is really good. It's something.
