logansrogue: (Doc Got Back!)
Yes, I am a bad David Tennant fan. Well, it's funny. I've never been much interested in what he does outside of Doctor Who, unless I'm perving on him in pictures or seeing him guest star on shows I watch anyway (Never Mind the Buzzcocks, Qi). I consider myself a Doctor Who fan above all, and David Tennant was a Very Good Doctor, so I had a lot of affection and sexual attraction towards him. I've noticed a pattern - it extends to a lot of guys who play the Doctor. (Tom Baker, Matt Smith, Paul McGann). But I'm not your typical "stan" fangirl, that takes part on forums and writes RPF fic where he sodomizes John Barrowman in the BBC green room while listening to Bad Romance by Lady Gaga (That... actually sounds like a rather hilarious fanfic, really). Sure, I do Fan Art, but it's terribly good and I drew Elijah Wood WAY more than I draw Mr. Tennant. The top drawn actor in my fan drawing career would be Anna Paquin, so much so that she's leeched into my original art as well.

Beat that, Tennant.

I'm digressing (and protesting far too much, it seems). Point being, I never got around to seeing Casanova. Until now.

First time I downloaded it was a shamozzle cause it ended up being the Heath Ledger movie. God Bless the Home Boy (Heath too hails from Perth, Australia) but it's a crushing disappointment to see HIS mug on the screen when I was hotly anticipating Mr. Tennant with his big brown eyes and gorgeous bottom in tight pants. His butt is in the tight pants, not his eyes. Apparently he both raises my heart rate AND screws up my ability to form proper grammar.

So! Yes. Watching Casanova. Dear darling Apolla told me that our lovely old favourite, Peter O'Toole was in it. I'd forgotten that, and was delighted to see him on screen, still looking gorgeous. I thought, "Shit. Peter O'Toole AND David Tennant in one telemovie? My God-damn pants are going to explode from the AWESOME."

So anyway, I have time to kill and some Casanova to watch. *tips hat*

ETA: People look weird with contact lenses. Particularly brown-eyed people wearing blue contact lenses. It's all wrong.
