Came across a profile where the guy doesn't want to initiate any conversation. Fair enough, his bag. Instead, he directs women to this blog:

Where they are then required to answer a series of questions. Again - his bag. He asks "Why have all your past relationships failed?" Which, while he's within his rights to ask, is a real douche-baggy thing to do. It also occurs to me that he's expecting these women to do all the hard work. Where are HIS answers to these questions, eh?

Okay. So I was told by my darling friend strangedave that I have been nominated for a Ditmar award. I know I have my other friend angriest to thank for the HUGE FREAKING HONOUR.

I'm so freaking stunned and delighted, I really am! I'm not very out there in the community. Some people know of me, but most of them are friends or my peeps in my fan communities. I'm just so touched and this has come at a time where I've really been needing a boost. People that know me will know the shit I'm talking about. Chronic illness, emotional trauma due to life circumstances, etc. It's just - I don't care if I don't win. I'm so happy that my art makes people happy enough that they nominated me for something! And I look like I'm in pretty good company, too! My congrats to everyone, I'm so honoured to be amongst you! I'm going to shut up before I pull a Sally Fields here!!
