I feel no relief at the death of the Bali Bombers. Quite simply, we've stirred the ant's nest. Lord knows how many will suffer now.

Humans disgust me sometimes. I just despair.

Sims 2 Lifeboat

My Sims 2 games are now settled on my new laptop. So it turns out, my new laptop has a bigger HD, better graphics cards and memory than my present main tower here in the kitchen, and has the added bonus of being portable.

Of course it'll make things difficult getting my own custom content onto the thing, the added step of transferring it over to the lappie, but hey, it's worth it if I JUST GET TO HAVE CAUSTICS TURNED ON.

I want to have sex with my new laptop.

It scans my fingerprint with a tiny fingerprint scanner. It's running The Sims 2, Semagic, and three browser windows and the little CPU meter widget is barely clocking 45 percent. It's coasting away like a happy young wildebeest calf (Yes, I watched that David Attenborough doco tonight about the wildebeest Mum and bub).

*happy sigh* Sometimes it's worth paying extra for things. Laptops are invariably the case.
