Hunger

Well, it's 7:25 am and I'm starving. Apparently, so is Melma. I was about to make myself some breakfast when I looked at her and saw how incredibly hungry she was. She can't eat, she's got surgery, and I thought it would be so incredibly cruel to eat in front of her.

I decided I wouldn't eat till I came home from dropping her off from the vet, which is in a couple of hours. All I'll consume is soft drink and water. I don't know *why* I'm doing this, I just figure if Melma's gonna be so incredibly hungry, I'd share the hunger with her. She's incredibly pissed off, and you can tell she's losing her good mood by the minute. She's a princess, she's used to asking and getting. Not this time.

I've been looking at the photos my friend Phil from maxshouse.com sent me of cats that had had the operations Melma is going to have. I'm trying to get used to how it looks so I don't act all 'ewww icky' when I see Melma when I go to pick her up. Last thing I'd want is to make her feel bad. Thankfully, her pretty eyes aren't going to be touched at all. You can see so much in her eyes.

I have totally pulled a muscle in my shoulder from waving away webs outside. I don't know about people in the rest of the world, but here in Australia, garden spiders are everywhere. They're *big* bastards too. Not poisonous, just big and they make huuuuuuge webs which they often like to put up in walkways outside and stuff. Some of them have had babies - thousands and thousands and thousands of babies. They're putting their tiny invisible webs up EVERYWHERE and as I walk around, trying to get rid of them with my hands so I don't have that crap in my face, my shoulder couldn't take the weight of my arms and something went. Owwww. It hurts bad. Need to use Deep Heat.

I'm hungry. So's Melma.
