You can imagine my utter joy and jubilation (high fives yellow-jacket girl) when this morning, as I connected to the internet, and waited for my blessed emails to flow in for my daily hit that I got nothing.
Nada. Zip. The old NOUGHT!!!
After some scrambling around iiNet, trying to figure out what the hell is wrong, it occurs to me iiNet is being all fucked up the ass again and I just have to wait.
I was cheery. Now I am grumpy.
Today I'm going to have lunch at the Hare Krishna resteraunt in Northbridge with my new good pally Tom. Much fun with Tom, cause he's a sweety and a hoot. I'd talked to Lynsey the other day, and she wants to come too. I'll talk to Tom about it in an hour or so. Oh, social lives. Why did I ask for one?!
Neneways, I'm just chatting to a few friends, finally uploading all my new stories to A Life Not Ordinary, and drinking Lemon & Barley sugar water. My sister leant me her Neil Young album. It's... interesting.
Good part of this morning - Xena is inside and being all warm and fluffy and loving. I put Mel in a good mood. I got to watch Rupert Everett on tv last night so I'm on a Rupert rush, and I get to have Krishna food today. *hugs Krishna food*.
Poem for today:
Just a dance,
And just a sigh,
She taps her feet
And bats an eye.
"Princes are my goal,
But paupers flock and fawn.
I dance in heels of ivory
From dusk until the dawn."
The princes know her by her smile
Always with a glance,
They push the finely garbed slip away
Never took the chance.
"Blue blood is so tasty,"
She says with a lusty eye,
"They always fight so bravely,
And take their time to die."
So rich boys with a penchant
For girls in classy dress,
Be wary of the lively girl,
More hungry than the rest.

(It's complete crap anyways).
