Dude, I just love this Australian bird I saw at our local zoo. It's called a Tawny Frogmouth. I love it! It looks like a Muppet!

Oh, we have heaps of them in my local area. We used to go for walks in the bush near our school when we were kids with the teacher, and we'd spot the local wildlife, of which the tawny frogmouth was a part. I think it's a species of owl. They make the cutest sounds!

I'd love to see them out in the wild. I downloaded a video of the zoo staff feeding a frogmouth chick. I'm afraid it was more interested in trying to chomp his finger than anything else.

Well, actually? They camoflague themselves so that they look like a log. So it's like looking at a feathery log. Not that exciting! LOL!
