Okay. I've been getting into Xena:WP again lately. Don't worry, I'm not abandoning the world of Harry Potter. I'm just in the post-movie, pre-next-book blahs, and I really really wanted to perfect an old story series of mine.

As a result, my Xena muses have come back and have set up home in my inspiration part of my brain. Where Harry, Hermione, Ron, Lavender and a few other HP muses have been living quite happily for some time now. I cannot tell you how scary it is.

Nancy: Hmm?
Harry: We need to talk.
Nancy: What about, sweety?
Harry: Him.
Nancy: Him who?
Harry: You know who I'm talking about. The big, evil, nasty guy in the black leather.
Nancy: Oh. Him. [lovelorn dreamy look]
Harry: Yeah. Listen... I don't mind sharing your brain with people. Being a Muse, it's something I'm kinda used to, you know?
Nancy: [nods]
Harry: I get along with Ford fine. Even Wolverine I don't have issue with. Keep him beered up and Rogue in his lap, and he's fine. But these Ancient GREEK people are driving me insane!!
Nancy: [blinks] Why? What are they doing?
Harry: God, where do I start?! [starts counting off on his fingers] That Gabrielle lady is seriously neurotic! Sweet Jesus, and I thought Ron and Hermione were bad when they bickered! If I see her needlessly hit Joxer one more time, I'm going to HEX her!
Nancy: Do that. It'd probably do her some good.
Harry: Then there's the fact that she keeps trying to convince Hermione to join the amazons, and wants Hermione to be their shaman or something.
Nancy: What's Hermione saying to this?
Harry: She's saying no, but she has that intrigued look in her eye! And here, here is the cracker. That big bastard, Ares-
Nancy: [smiles at the mention of his name]
Harry: He keeps flirting with Hermione!!
Nancy: [giggles] Does he?
Harry: Oh yeah! [assumes Ares' nonchalant air] Hey there baby, nice wand... wanna see mine? [poses yet again] Why don't you come over here and see what I can do with this sword? I can show you how to use it! [another pose] By the way, baby. You got a great right hook! [spazmos out and makes a very odd noise, shaking with rage] I can't take it ANYMORE!!
Nancy: How's Hermione reacting to his?
Harry: Well, at first she was angry. And then she was annoyed. And now she just [grits teeth]... She GIGGLES!
Nancy: Aaah...
Harry: She NEVER giggles! Hermione is NOT a giggler!
Nancy: Well, Ares is very charming...
Harry: [seethes] I know.
Nancy: Harry, you do realise that they were here before you were?
Harry:... yes.
Nancy: They've been in my brain since 1996.
Harry: [sighs]
Nancy: They are not going anywhere. And neither are you. So - better get used to them!
Harry: [folds arms and looks petulant] As recent favoured Muse, can I at least petition that you put a leash on that walking hard-on?
Nancy: [smiles] He might enjoy that.
Harry: [sighs, growls, stomps out of the room]

I remember I managed to find some decent porn, where the author loved Ares and all the other characters Kevin Smith played and there was much porniness going on... but the second day when I went to read everything else she had written, it had been taken down by Yahell getting all christian or something. *sigh*

LOL. The series I'm talking about is the Children of the Gods series. Yes, there is a couple of scenes in there, but on the whole, it's an epic story-telling series thing. Sorry to disappoint. But I do have some A/X pieces tucked away that are nothing but rudeness. I could probably shoot 'em your way.
