Hi there guys.

I was just wondering - if anyone here has the soundtrack to the third movie, and listens to it regularly, perhaps you can help me out?

There's a bit of music that's played when the bats fly over Harry, Hermione and Buckbeak in the forest, and it's absolutely gorgeous - I was wondering where it is in the soundtrack? I'm listening and listening and was wondering if anyone else knew.

Hugs,
Nancy.

Two Things. First -- I'll definitely do some checking up. My sis has the soundtrack. Second -- Can I say that I LOVE your emoticon? It's Rammy!

LOL! On those two things:

1. Lucky you!! I hope to get it soon.
2. Rameses is my Lord and Master of Sexy Baldness. *bows to the Hunk of Deliciousness* *flounces about like Nefertiri but smarter than Neffi cause I'd not knock Rameses back...* And I shall be his foot stool!!

Oh, man, I wish I could think of it....I listen to it a lot, but I just can't put my finger on it. Actually, there's another little piece from the movie that's missing from the CD. There a little part at the beginning of the credits, which essentially is Mischief Managed, but its not on there....its a tiny little piece of music, that's at the beginning of the credits, but not on the track. I realized it 'cause when I watched the ABC special, there was a scene during the interviews that they used this little piece that's missing, but I heard and really liked it, and therefore listened for it on the CD, and in the movie (and I didn't hear it till the end). And, like I said, heard it on the credits, then it goes into the normal track on the CD....its weird. Sorry, didn't mean to babble on about that, you asked a question and I went on to this whole other thing. I guess I just thought of it, 'cause you mentioned you couldn't find that little piece, and I know for a fact that that one is missing (I just saw the movie again yesterday, and I've listened to the CD enough to know). Anyway, I'll try and look for it, but when it happens in the movie, it is just kinda outta the blue, so maybe its not attached to a track anywhere, but John Williams is tricky, he puts these little pieces you expect to loose or not hear again in the darndest places....but its only because he's a genius. :)

XOXO

I can't answer your question, babe, but I listen to the POA soundtrack somewhat obsessively. It's almost as amazing as the movie :)

And since I know you don't actually read my journal I'm going to tell you where to find my newest fic: http://www.livejournal.com/community/hphg_ficathon/11809.html
:)
< /shameless self-promotion> Expect something (2 things) in the mail from me in about a week :)

Ah, I know the music you're referring to. It's not on the CD, unfortunately. The end of the 'Saving Buckbeak' track, as near as I can tell from what I remember in the movie, seems to be the music that leads in to the section of music you're talking about, but fades off right before the actual music you're wanting. Poo on them - it *is* a pretty bit of music.
