Not famous. Yet.

Well, I did better than last year. I got through the first round of auditions. The second one with the producers was really hard. They were really unyielding, unfriendly. They wrote notes to each other on paper. They said I had a pretty voice but it wasn't strong enough for the competition.

I was confused. They have microphones for that, don't they?

Anyway, so I met some really great people. Especially Tinamaree Appleby. She's such a sweetheart, a very talented woman and a fellow Kate Bush fan. We sang Kate Bush all day and talked about the music we liked. Was SO absolutely fun. I hope I don't lose contact with her cause she was absolutely adorable!

Well, I'm totally exhausted, I slept from 7:30 (an hour and a half after I got home) right through to 9:00am the next day. VERY tired. I'll probably sleep some more too, cause I tell you - I'm jiggered.

Fuck it's cold. I wish my Mum could let me close the door, the fucking eskimo! Sorry - the fucking Innuit!

Sigh At least you've sort of got an idea where to go with your show biz aspirations. I'm really not sure how to proceed with my budding voice acting career. I expect to have access to the local university radio station extra studio soon, but I'm not sure what to do with it.

Anyway, congrats for what you've done and best wishes for even more in the future.

Unless, of course, when you become a famous singer, you'll forget all about us, the little people. ;-)
