I've been given advice that maybe I might want to think about a career as a songwriter. As in, I write the songs, and I don't sing the songs.

Which makes me think, "Shit - Is my voice not good enough for me to sing my own music or am I not pretty enough for such a career?"

Discuss. :T

You do what you think is best for you but I say follow your dreams cause no one else will do it for you. I only briefly saw you at pop stars auditions and I say hell yeah your plenty pretty enough. I can't comment on your voice as I haven't heard you at your best and one day I'm going to have to fix that little problem aren't I?

I like it’s lovely and very on the alternative side. Kind of reminds me of early Jewel (especially some of the offbeat wording [and key/rhythm changes?]– if I’m wrong just ignore the boy with absolutely no musical education) before she sold out and got all sexy as fuck (drools). It tends to grow on you slowly (I’ve got it on loop) since it is so offbeat and alternative you have to sit and listen to the words and there’s plenty of soul there. Anywho yeah I love it and I’d love to hear you live.

I say do what your heart tells you. I find you voice beautiful and very expressive. Perhaps if you have problems getting into the biz, you can do songwriting until you get a name and will have a chance to break in as a singer.
