- OH, the Silence are creepy. Just when I think Moffat can't get any creepier, he manages it. MOFFAT, WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON IN YOUR HEAD, YOU DIABOLICAL FUCKER?

- You know, I'm really not comfortable with the fact that the Silence basically prodded the evolution of the Human Race. That bit of re-writing of history really, really pisses me off. In a huge way. The ongoing thing with the Doctor, the thing he loves about humans the most is that they are tenacious and they're survivors and they strive for the stars and what is the fucking point of that if they had the Silence there the whole fucking time cracking the invisible whip?? GRRRR.

- Just when I think that I won't warm up to River any more, she has a moment. The heartbreak in her face... I don't think any other actress could pull it off, you know.

I love how over-the-top with the flirting the Doctor was, then after the kiss, things got weird. I LIKE THAT. Cause he takes a lot to get into that mode, and I wouldn't expect him just to be like "WHEE" after all he's been through as Ten.

Now I gotta go RP. I mun Amy and Rory in a metaverse RP I'm in. You can guess I have a lot of fun with that. They've gone back in time with me and Ten (I have a few different Doctors about in that verse, it's me and friends having fun, you see) and we're visiting BBC's Merlin's King Arthur.

ETA: It sounds like I'm going to stop talking to you. I'm not intending that, I'm just saying that I'm busting to write shit. :)

Well, it's a bit of a complicated storyline as there's a lot of history in it between my character and the Doctor (who I've been playing with for *years*). It's a self-insert meta-universe that is half a joke on ourselves, and I've been painstakingly building the friendship between the Doctor and I since 2005, so anyone just reading this story would be like, "Woah, what?! Mary-Sue insert time!" But there'd be five years of development they'd be missing out on.

That, and Rory hasn't been able to do much yet. But it does involve the Tenth Doctor accidentally dropping in on the Eighth, and all hell breaking loose. When things get really real, then Rory will be able to do some more stuff.

It's very self-referential so you might not get most of it, but there's a few moments that I'm very proud of writing. I completely understand if it's not to your tastes. The list has been around since the late 90s, all the players know each other very well and there's a lot of in-jokes going on that people mightn't get. These days I tend to have the most fun making different fandoms collide. :)

I'm not that fussed about the Silence shepherding humanity. We've had it before with The City of Death, and I'm sure we'll have it again. Doctor Who occurs in a raft of possible universes, which started in at least three different ways (hydrogen inrush, exploding star-drive, and.. some other one I've forgotten).

IMO the Silence are almost as creepy as the weeping angels. BTW we're watching The Killing on AMC, and last night there was a funeral and what did we see at the cemetery but not one, but TWO weeping angel statues. More creepiness.
