Today it's hot and dry. GOD DAMN IT. I have to wait a few hours before I can start painting again, cause I have *no* time to blend the paints. Absolutely none. And for me, blending is essential to get the look I need with my art.
I realised that I tend to grind my teeth when I'm painting, so I'll have to wear my fucking dental splint while I paint as *well* as when I sleep. I must look a real fool when I'm painting. Hair pinned up stupid, paint all over me, mismatching old clothes, big frown on my face, clenched teeth. Add a dental splint to that and you have a real good picture of what a dork I look when I'm working.
Anyhoodles, musn't dilly-dally. I have to figure out what I'm doing with one of the paintings and that requires a lot of thumbnailing and planning. <3

Date: 2011-03-14 09:03 am (UTC)Wait, wait, wait, wait! ... are you trying to tell me that this isn't how all great artists look like when they paint? Is this another one of those lies I've been living?
