Doctor Who: Vampires of Venice.

I watched it with my niece so I couldn't stop and blog. Eleven was adorable as usual.

- I seriously want a stripper cake with the Doctor inside for my birthday. How do I get one?!
- Eleven/Rory/Amy. This must happen.
- Was it just me or did he want to bone the fish-lady?
- THE LIBRARY CARD WAS THE BEST THING ABOUT THIS EP.

I NEED THE FUCKING LIBRARY CARD IN MY WALLET. CAUSE THAT WAS SO COOL I NEARLY VOMITED FROM LAUGHING!!

So it wasn't *brilliant*, but the character work that was done in it made it more than enjoyable for me. It was an important episode in its own way, forging Team Tardis for 2010. I think they have a really strong bond, and I like Rory. Rory is clever, and he really feels deeply about everything, and he's not sucking up to the Doctor. I think, in a way, Eleven totally appreciates that. Even if he gets shitfaced about being not-appreciated.

Boy got an ego. Totally got an ego.

And I love the ending. Amy is in CHARGE and it makes me HAPPY.

I thought it did very well in terms of look, dialogue and character, and failed a little bit in terms of plot. Oh and the growing story arc with the cracks and the silence is fab.

I died on the cake thing. That was hardcore awesome. "did I come out of the wrong cake... again?" And my favorite line of the whole show: "funny, isn't it, how you can say something in your head and it sounds alright..." roll opening credits.

The Doctor + people skillz = FAIL. So cute.
