It'll probably be a horrible story since I've not written DW fanfiction before, but just testing the waters - if I were to write a story that involved Romana, should I set it with the Tenth Doctor or the Eleventh? I'm thinking Eleventh. But my loins say Ten.

The later you make the Doctor (11th instead of 10th) the funnier it is for a Romana still in her 2nd incarnation to lecture him on personal safety and taking better care of himself.

See, that's what I thought. The only other reasons would be sentimental. I have to get to know Romana II properly before I write this though. I'm a schtickler for characterisation.

Already done? Huhm. I've never been into Doctor Who fandom (Cause fandom ruins fun) so I am surprised people ship them. I figured most people had forgotten about Romana or were into current companions. Hah.

I've definitely read Ten/Romana enough times that it doesn't seem new to me, though now that I think about it, I think nostalgia_lj may have written most of it.

(Also, why wouldn't we ship them? Ten and Romana = two great tastes that taste great together. :D)
