People would like to think that it doesn't matter anymore, but it does matter. People still suffer for being gay, and you know it. So it was both a gutsy and well played moment for you.

God damn. The other week I was finding myself having heaps of respect for Jessica Simpson. Now Ricky Martin? What the hell? Did I wake up in bizarro world?

It's probably no great surprise to many people that he is gay, but it is great that he feels he is able to come out finally.

Oh, it was about a month back now. She was just sounding very grown up and grounded and reasonable about the big media flap about her weight. Which was good for young girls to hear, I thought.
